Nepal's capital

Kathmandu is Nepal's capital city its also known as kintipuri but ancient period. Kathmandu Valley is surrounded by hills. in ancient period. this Valley  was covered with water . it was lake, manju shree let the water go out of and later on it was changed into fertile land. people slowly used to settle here and as the time goes on it was changed into valley named as kantipuri  (modern name kathmandu)

Kathmandu known as kastamandap because here are many temples which is full off  arts and crafts. that temple was build in 300 years ago the city known as temple city. the temple like pasupatinath, buddhanilkantha are kathmandu. which is famous all over the world. there are more people lives because of the facility being capital, it has got more population than in other city.

Nepali Festivals

Most of the people in Nepal are Hindus. But some are Christians, Muslims, Buddhist and so on. As most of the people are Hindus so the main Festivals are Dashain, Tihar, Holi, Krishnaaastami, gaijatra, teej, janaipurnima etc.

Dashain:  Its the biggest festival of Nepal. it is celebrated almost for 15 days. in the day  of  Tika we put on tika by ours elders, they put on tika on our for head and give us bless and wish we make lots of varieties of food. All the family members, neighbors, friends gather in some place and enjoy it by eating different kind of foods, play cards and swing.

Tihar:  After dashain Tihar is also one of the most famous festival of Hindus. Actually the festival for the brothers and sisters. Sisters use to put tika on brothers and pray for their long life. Brothers gives then gifts as in return.

Holi:  Its the festival of colors. Friend and family gathering together and putting different kinds of colors n each other we celebrate it. its colorful festival as well as of waters. putting color and water in each other the holi is celebrated.

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. its height is  8,848 meters. Its one of worlds beauty Edmand hillary & Nil armstrong was the first person to be in the peak of Mount Everest. Junko tabaie the first had been there .Nepali citizen Pasang lamu sherpa was the first lady for representing Nepal.21 time peak Babu aakpa sherpa  many tourist are attracted to Mount Everest (sagarmatha) going to Sagarmatha  is so adventurous jousting. many foreigners wants to go there and want to feel the adventure and nature .Our country Nepal is known in world as Mt.Everest. Mt.Everest is such natural thing that we can show and make our country famous

Nepal is one of the beautiful country in the whole world though it has covered little area but its very beautiful with enchanting views and scenery. its area is 1,48,181square kilometers. our country is divided three regions: mountain,hilly and plain regions.its has got 14 zones and 75 district.its divided 5 development regions.

  In Nepal there are different kind of people  who are of different religions. every religions people have there own identity, base, culture, language. There are different culture and historical places in Nepal which shows tradition and culture which shows ancestors identity and  history Nepali people are so traditional and we believe in our culture and we do respect it too. There are many historical places like patan darbar square, bhaktapur darbar square,nuwakot darbar square, hunuman dhoka, basantapur kritipur pasupatinath, muktinath, goshikunda etc. These old temples made insouciant period shows our arts and craft it shows nepalese's ability,skill,mind and hard work.

Most of the Nepalese people of the total population above then 80% of people are involve in agriculture people because of plain landscape and fertile soil agriculture is best occupation chosen by Nepalese the grown crops are in gaze in business also.

in context of water resources: Nepal is the second biggest and richest water resource in the world after Brazil. if we will be able to utilize the maximum source of water then we will be able to produce 83,000 megawatt electricity in Nepal but due to the poor situation it is our  country and political outbalance it is not in work out. only 600 megawatt electricity is produced. if we use only water resource among many resource  then our country has such a ability that we will be able to light the whole Asia!

Our Everest: Mount Everest is in Nepal we are so lucky to be in here. we are very rich in natural resource we do have in numeral place in Nepal which are famous in terms of mountain: aanapurna, ganesh himal, dhawalageri, lantang etc.

Famous in terms of lakes: phewataal, rupataal, rarataal,begnastaal, tilichotaal and phoksundotaal etc.

Famous place: here are more popular place like Pokhara its really beautiful place of nepal and world second sizerlald there: mahandra cave, lake side, david fall, hilltrack. Lumbini when born gautam buddha"Asia's light" asok istmba Nagerkot its really suitable place for those who wants to watch sun rise and sun set we can clearly see from nagerkot. Bhote kosi : its the adventurous game place! hows that those who like to be adventure can take fun in Bunjy jump rafting is also adventure game for those who are interested there are many more places and natural.

Tourism year 2011:  many tourists uses to come in Nepal for visiting here yearly lakes of tourists uses to visit. our  tourism year is coming near we shows our culture, tradition, arts, skill in tourism year its for those tourists who wants to be families with our history culture and tradition.
